Job Summary
Data & Cloud Technical Project Manager responsible for delivering technical projects for clients, including building data platforms, deploying use cases involving Generative AI, and defining data governance at scale. Role combines hands-on architecture and implementation activities with project leadership: estimating technical sizing, guiding architecture reviews, coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuring timely delivery. The position also entails pre-sales activities (discovery, architecture presentation), and strategic contributions (R&D initiatives and templating projects). Strong emphasis on data platform technologies, cloud environments (GCP/Azure/AWS), data warehouses, APIs, and DevOps practices, with required collaboration across consultants, data analysts, and data scientists. Proficiency in French and English is required, with experience working in project-mode delivery and a willingness to contribute to a multicultural, multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in technical consulting
- first experience managing a team
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to analyze needs and propose solutions
- technical project management experience including planning, internal coordination, client relationship management, timelines and risk management, and quality control
- mastery of data architectures
- proficiency with Cloud environments; certification on GCP, Azure or AWS
- mastery of at least one data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
- understanding of APIs (OAuth, REST)
- strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- strong knowledge of Docker
- familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- familiarity with GitOps concepts and CI/CD practices
- team collaboration and code review
- fluency in French and English
- prior project-based work with varied stakeholders (consultants, data analysts, data scientists)
