Job Summary
Manage uptime for data transformation platforms and handle feature requests from stakeholders. Build scalable GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments and identify areas for improvement to enhance stability and security. Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and security teams to document standards and mentor junior members. Maintain platform documentation and showcase new features while participating in OOH support call-out rotations. Requires strong GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Dataproc, Databricks and data integration workflows
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in GCP
- Solid understanding of GCP networking (VPCs, firewall rules, Cloud VPN, Private Service Connect, DNS, Load Balancing)
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, or equivalent DevOps tooling
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, or similar tools
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, service accounts, Secret Manager, organization policies)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in Data Platform teams highly preferred
