Job Summary
Data Clerk responsible for gathering, entering, and maintaining student data in the district database with accuracy and in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Must compile quarterly and yearly mandated reports, assist faculty with database usage, and coordinate with administrators, guidance personnel, and social workers to resolve data discrepancies. Requires strong data-entry capabilities, familiarity with district database/software, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to maintain confidentiality, and adherence to district policies. 260-day calendar; 107 salary level; non-exempt classified role in Beaufort County School District, Hilton Head Island, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA) in computer science or related field preferred
- Three years' experience in data entry and/or technology-related office work preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
- Knowledge of district identified database program applications
- Adhere to federal, state and local guidelines. Maintain confidentiality of data as required by law, policy and supervisor's direction
