Data Centre Manager

Data Centre Manager responsible for the overall operation, performance and leadership of Pulsant's data centres in Manchester and Rotherham, ensuring safe, resilient 24x7 environments. Leads operational support, remote hands service delivery, client relationships, and continuous improvement across sites, with an established team of Data Centre Services Engineers. Partners with Mechanical and Technical Leads to maintain mechanical infrastructure, oversee maintenance and capacity planning, and drive performance improvements through data and risk documentation. Manages budgets, compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards, and vendor/contractor oversight. Requires data centre infrastructure knowledge, hard and soft facilities management experience, client-facing skills, people management, and familiarity with UK regulations (H&S, ISO 27001, ISO 14000, PCI) as well as security clearance and a valid UK driving licence.
