Data Centre Forensic Manager

Job Summary
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures in real time, reviewing performance data to identify issues and validating system parameters against design intent. Undertake forensic analysis of infrastructure to increase reliability through engineering and operational solutions, while reviewing compliance with corrective and preventative maintenance programs. Drive proactive lesson learned analysis across design, construction, and operations to mitigate risks, and design scalable improvements that enhance how work gets done. Assist in new market due diligence and analyze staffing requirements to support root cause analysis. Manage end-to-end delivery of improvement initiatives from problem definition through benefits realisation, ensuring quantifiable deviations are addressed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical background and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficient and practical understanding of the role ITIL plays in the management of building services within a data centre
- Excellent understanding of data centre operations and processes
- Strong project management skills with experience managing dispersed teams and organisational change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members
- Have a sense of urgency commensurate with managing a priority/severity incident in a 24x7 environment
- Ability to analyse complex problems, identify root causes, develop and implement effective solutions
- Capacity to travel approximately 20% across the APAC region as required to support business operations and stakeholder & customer engagement
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering or equivalent experience is preferred
