Data Centers Cost Manager H/F

Data Center Cost Manager is responsible for providing full cost management services across the lifecycle of data center projects — from feasibility and budgeting through procurement, construction, and closeout. The role involves working with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining quality, schedule, and performance requirements. Key responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts; preparing detailed cost estimates at all project stages; leading value engineering to optimize design and cost efficiency; managing tender processes (bill of quantities, bid analysis, and recommendations); evaluating and negotiating change orders; conducting cost benchmarking and market analysis specific to data center construction; providing cost advice on mechanical, electrical, and components critical to data centers; collaborating with project managers, design teams, and clients to align budgets with objectives; preparing monthly cost reports and financial updates; supporting cost databases and modeling tools; and ensuring governance, risk management, and compliance. The role requires significant experience in data center cost management, proficiency in English, client-facing presentation skills, rigor, and a proactive, creative approach to developing new practices and tools.
