Job Summary
Data Center Thermal Technician responsible for installation, commissioning, and on-site/emergency service on Liebert Air products; duties include maintaining customer rapport, documenting work, and following safety guidelines. Requires High School Diploma or GED, HVAC certificate program or equivalent experience, EPA refrigerant license, basic electrical knowledge, and ability to read electrical diagrams; travel and on-site execution with the goal of a first-time fix and strong customer service. Must maintain certifications, operate under supervision or independently as trained, and comply with company reporting and safety procedures. Ability to perform tasks across installation, maintenance, and service activities while communicating with National Technical Support and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- HVAC – Certificate Program degree or equivalent experience in the field
- Six years military experience in a related field
- Equivalent industry experience with EPA refrigerant license
- Basic electrical knowledge

- Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
- Working knowledge of OHM’s law and HVAC theory

- Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision
- Capable of completing tasks and return unit to full operating conditions based upon directed supervision
