Job Summary
Data Center Technician needed for contract/freelance work in Woerden, NL, on-site at premier data center facilities. Responsibilities include hardware installations, decommissions, migrations, structured cabling, server racking/stacking/labeling, cross-connects and patch panel work, troubleshooting, and documenting work with photos and notes. Requires 2+ years of data center/IT infra experience, strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber), experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, ability to lift 50+ lbs, on-site work with English communication, and preferred data center/network certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
- Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
- Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
- Professional communication skills in English
- Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
- Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
- Familiarity with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
