Job Summary
Data Center Technician (Level I–IV) sought to support deployment and maintenance of high-performance network environments across the nation. Responsibilities span high-quality infrastructure installations, on-site support, adherence to safety standards, and participation in network integrations, migrations, and cutovers. Progression paths from Level 1 to Level 4 emphasize cabinet/rack installation, cable management, grounding, DC power installations, and leadership of installation teams as experience grows. Requires deep knowledge in structured cabling, RF systems, and fiber integration within headend, central office, and enterprise data center settings; travel up to 85% may be required. Schedule predominantly Monday–Friday with some overnight work; physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and able to work in high-stakes environments with strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of digital infrastructure / network facility support experience
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces
- Familiarity with CAT5/6 and fiber cabling
- Ability to work independently and partake in night shifts as needed
- Ability to install, dress, and test cabling and DC power installations
