Data Center Technician L2

Data Center Technician L2 responsible for the operational integrity of data center electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems, ensuring maximum customer uptime and cost-effective operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and testing mechanical systems (chilled water, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, humidification), electrical distribution (Utility/Generator main switchgear to customer load through UPS), fire life safety (wet/pre-action sprinklers and detectors), reading blueprints and diagrams, installing and servicing equipment, monitoring and analyzing systems for efficiency, coordinating with contractors and CF Ops Lead Technician, supporting preventive/predictive maintenance, and ensuring on-site operation with after-hours requirements. Requires strong communication, hands-on experience with large commercial/industrial systems (chillers, VFDs, pumps, BMS/PLC controls, generators, UPS, hydraulics), OSHA/industry safety knowledge, and ability to work in a data-center environment. Shift: Monday-Friday days; on-site work; ability to work nights/holidays/weekends as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate tools and testing equipment; on-site only.
