Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems in a high-security data center. Ideal for candidates with experience in cabling and network equipment installation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience installing and maintaining low voltage cabling and networking equipment, preferably in a data center environment
- Proficiency with cable testing tools and network equipment
- Strong understanding of industry standards such as ANSI/TIA/EIA and BICSI
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with power distribution units (PDUs) and server rack configurations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and high places
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
