Job Summary
Freelance Data Center Technician needed to support global data centers with on-demand, remote hands and on-site tasks. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and networking equipment; monitoring data center operations both remotely and on-site; configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper); managing Linux and Windows-based systems with updates and security hardening; documenting installations and performance; implementing security protocols; and collaborating with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects to drive efficiency and reliability. Requires strong hardware, server, and networking knowledge, capacity to work independently with remote coordination, and proximity to local data center facilities. Flexible schedule for on-call/emergency work and the ability to pick tickets without a minimum hour commitment.”,
