Job Summary
Data Centre Technician role responsible for hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and maintaining data centre operations to meet service levels. You will perform root cause analysis, train internal teams, and develop documentation or scripts to update server and networking hardware. This is a 100% on-site position with a 60-minute on-site response window and up to 10% travel to other locations. Key skills include computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly, Linux OS experience, ability to transport equipment up to 50 lbs, tolerance for temperatures 60–90°F, and availability for a flexible 24/7 on-call schedule. Preferred: experience with computer networking, Python/Bash scripting, and Cisco IOS/Juniper JunOS; an Associate’s Degree or equivalent IT-related experience.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
- Computer Hardware experience, including troubleshooting and assembling.
- Linux Operating System experience.
