Job Summary
Data Center Technician at CoreWeave, onsite in Cincinnati, OH. You will maintain data center operations for service availability, perform hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, conduct root cause analysis, train internal teams, develop documentation, provide technical support to data center teams, develop scripts to update server and networking hardware, maintain inventory, assemble/install equipment, and travel up to 10% to other data center locations. This role requires hands-on hardware work, Linux proficiency, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, execution in cramped/raised spaces, and a flexible 24/7 on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly
- Experience working with Linux operating systems
- Experience with computer networking
- Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including participation in a rotating on-call shift
