Job Summary
Data Center Technician (On-site) in Suzano, BR - full-time role supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a modern data center. Key duties include hardware installations, decommissions, migrations, structured cabling (copper and fiber), server racking, stacking, labeling, cross-connects, patch panels, troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues, and documenting work with photos and notes. Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams. Requires 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience, strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber), and familiarity with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro). Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised-floor environments; on-site presence with own transportation. English communication skills required. Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS or CCNA/CompTIA Network+ are preferred; experience with DCIM and ticketing systems and familiarity with major colocation providers are also preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
- Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
- Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
- Professional communication skills in English
- Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
- Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
