Job Summary
On-site Data Center Technical Support Technician responsible for hands-on installation, relocation, and maintenance of servers, storage, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure across data centers. Performs rack installation, cable management, copper/fiber patching, component replacement, and visual inspections; provides remote support to infrastructure, network, cloud, and operations teams; accompanies vendors during interventions; supports upgrades and project deployments; maintains intervention records and asset inventories; adheres to data center procedures, security policies, and health & safety standards. Requires strong attention to detail, independent work capability, professional communication, and willingness to support after-hours and emergency shifts. Fluent Portuguese and B2 English required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, or IT Operations environments
- Practical experience with enterprise server platforms such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, or equivalent vendors
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including switching, routing, VLANs, and structured cabling
- Experience with storage systems and physical infrastructure components
- Familiarity with best practices and operational processes for data centers
- Ability to follow technical documentation and execute procedures with a high level of accuracy
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills
- Fluent Portuguese
- B2 English
