Job Summary
Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols for interior and exterior areas, control access and egress, and monitor closed-circuit television and alarm systems. Respond to events received in person, via phone, or radio, and accurately document routine and unusual incidents through shift reports and incident logs. Mitigate unwanted intruders, ensure visitors are escorted, and assign appropriate badges while enforcing site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Provide security support during inclement weather or infrastructure interruptions. Requires a valid driver's license, one year of security experience, and CPR certification. Located in Meridian, MS, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license
- Possess, or be able to obtain, the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of physical security experience within the last five (5) years
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently
- Proficiently skilled in the use of technology such as a desktop computer and mobile applications to document activities and tasks
- Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency
- Ability to quickly and efficiently analyze high stress situations to determine the proper communication of events and to dispatch the proper teams to determine the best course of action to take
Desired Qualifications
- Active Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) registration
- Military or law enforcement experience
