Job Summary
Data Center QA/QC Manager responsible for overseeing quality across multi-site data center construction projects, with emphasis on installation and commissioning of key infrastructure systems. Lead site walkthroughs to ensure procedures and standards are followed, communicate status to senior management, and perform site acceptance and commissioning to meet stringent company standards. Develop and approve Procedures/Method of Procedures (MOPs) for data hall work, and provide coverage for onsite data center management including supervision of facility managers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. Manage client relationships, establish performance benchmarks, analyze operations and maintenance metrics, and coordinate with design/construction teams to optimize safety, reliability, and 99.999% uptime. Develop and implement Mission Critical O&M programs, create process documentation, training materials, and contribute to continuous improvement of Critical Environment Programs.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of data center facility construction and commissioning experience
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls
- 5+ years leadership experience in data center facilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; Good presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of critical electrical and mechanical/HVAC equipment in a data center environment
- Superior analytical, planning and problem resolution skills
