Job Summary
Lead data center projects from startup to commissioning, overseeing the entire lifecycle across colocation and hyperscale environments. Develop detailed schedules tracking milestones and manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project modifications aligned with client requirements. Oversee integrated and functional system testing of thermal equipment, specifically chilled water systems, while troubleshooting technical issues with engineering teams. Manage on-site technicians and serve as the primary contact for operational questions, collaborating with design, construction, and client services teams. Interface with customers to understand unique needs, ensure projects meet specifications and industry best practices, and support post-installation follow-up to verify operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, industry training programs, or equivalent years of experience (7+ years of experience)
- Proven experience managing projects in the data center, industrial, or HVAC sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in thermal execution, especially in systems involving chilled water or water cooling
- Experience in integrated system testing, commissioning, and functional testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of complex data center infrastructure
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and engage with technical staff
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Pass additional drug screening

- While experience in other industries is also highly valued
- Experience in integrated system testing, commissioning, and functional testing is preferred
