Data Center Project Manager - Electrical

Job Summary
Lead data center design projects from inception to completion, overseeing electrical engineering aspects (generation, switchgear, critical power, energy storage) and coordinating with mechanical, civil, and structural teams. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation; coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams; review designs, feasibility studies, and submittals; manage external vendors and ensure QA, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives throughout the lifecycle; drive continuous improvement and provide technical guidance across the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center design and project management
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including generation, distribution, conditioning, storage, and energy management
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Procore)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
