Job Summary
Lead design teams to develop detailed construction plans for site/civil projects, including grading, roadway, stormwater management, and erosion control design. Prepare associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets while conducting code research, writing specifications, and obtaining permits. Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, and review agencies to meet project scope and deadlines. Mentor and train junior and mid-level staff. Requires a PE license, 8+ years of progressive design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience
- PE license
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Proven track record of meeting project and client deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and work simultaneously on several projects at once
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and review agency staff
- Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums and other written communication such as email
