Job Summary
Operator role for Beowulf Electricity and Data: responsible for mechanical and hardware monitoring of data-center infrastructure including direct-to-chip liquid cooling, power distribution matrices, and mechanical equipment; actively respond to automated alerts, diagnose root causes, and coordinate rapid corrective actions with IT engineers and facilities teams; maintain precise incident logs, shift summaries, and compliance reports to ensure continuity across 24/7 shifts; requires a high school diploma or equivalent, technical certifications or an associate's degree preferred, strong mechanical/diagnostic aptitude, calm troubleshooting under pressure, excellent English communication, and ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility with 50 lb lift capability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Data Center Certified Associate) or an Associate's degree are highly regarded
- Mechanical & technical aptitude
- Troubleshooting mentality
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work fixed 8 &12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment
- Physical capability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
