Data Center Operations Engineer - Server Team

Job Summary
Deploy and maintain servers, private racks, colocation spaces, and other critical infrastructure. Perform Windows and Linux server installations, including hardware and software configuration. Manage hardware and software updates to ensure optimal performance. Handle server recovery, troubleshooting, and testing. Oversee hardware and spare parts replacements. Resolve technical support tickets and collaborate closely with Level 1 support. Maintain detailed documentation based on client and company requirements. Support projects related to provisioning new servers or relocating existing ones. Coordinate with other datacenter teams within Leaseweb to ensure seamless operations.
Required Qualifications
- Driver’s License
- eligibility to work in the Netherlands
- Hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, or Supermicro preferred)
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with server building, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts
