Job Summary
Data Center Operations Director leads and directions data center operations at account/divisional level, driving capabilities, market position, and complex engagement transformations in high-risk environments. Responsibilities include ownership of DC/CE managed space within designated area, leading best practices, interfacing with clients and OEM vendors, overseeing transitions and due diligence, developing strategic tools and AI-based programs for mission-critical environments, and ensuring 100% uptime through robust processes and analytics. Travel up to 40% may be required; location on-site in Minneapolis, MN or Raleigh, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years data center operations, project and/or engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years supporting business line expansion in a high growth market
- Thorough understanding of data center MEP systems and IT raised floor, co-location, hyper-scale and cloud environments
