Job Summary
Receive, verify, and track incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders for network cabling projects across multiple hyperscale data centers. Organize, stage, and prepare material kits for easy access and project readiness while maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for deliveries, issue resolution, and scheduling, and safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure compliance with safety procedures. Track shipments, update project teams, and adjust inventory levels to minimize waste. This role supports efficient job site support and project success for LINX, a company that designs, installs, and supports commercial network cabling for data centers, multimedia, security, and wireless systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in material management, logistics, or inventory control
- Strong knowledge of utilizing Telehandler 5k, Walker Stacker or electric pallet jack
- Forklift certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and warehouse settings
