Job Summary
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, managing shipping documents and records. Assemble and install computer hardware, server components, and cabling following detailed schematics. Perform quality inspections on materials, verifying part numbers and component condition. Conduct inventory cycle counts and track supplies in warehouse management systems. Process returns with accurate documentation and data entry. Use laser measuring tools to align and position server racks. Operate material handling equipment safely. Follow Standard Operating Procedures for builds, documentation, and safety compliance. Collaborate with logistics and build teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Support other departments through cross-training and continuous improvement. Full-time day shift Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in data center operations, IT hardware assembly, electronics production, inventory control, high-volume logistics, or similar environment
- Hands-on experience building, assembling, or repairing computers or servers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended shifts
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with inventory management tools (SAP, RF scanners, or WMS) preferred
