Job Summary
Data Center Logistics Specialist I performs logistics duties in a data center, including inventory, asset, and data management, receiving/shipment, and installation or decommissioning of assets using warehouse management systems and MHE. Responsibilities include handling incoming/outgoing hardware (servers, parts, cables), managing inventory and tagging, staging equipment for installation, installing servers (rack and stack), connecting power and network cables, troubleshooting basic hardware issues, preparing hardware for deployment (labeling, configuration, quality checks), routine DC hardware installation with adherence to deployment procedures, responding to alerts to minimize downtime, performing maintenance and upgrades on servers, maintaining environmental conditions to prevent overheating or outages, and enforcing data center security and compliance with company policy. Required education is a High School Diploma or equivalent; English reading/writing/speaking ability is emphasized; prior data center experience is desirable. Equal opportunity employer.
