Job Summary
Manage daily logistics and operational activities within the data center, including receiving, shipping, staging, and decommissioning hardware assets like servers, networking equipment, and cables. Utilize warehouse management systems and material handling equipment to ensure accurate inventory control, asset tracking, and lifecycle management. Perform rack and stack installations, connect power and network cables, troubleshoot basic hardware issues, and conduct routine maintenance and upgrades. Respond quickly to alerts and incidents to minimize downtime while maintaining environmental conditions and strict security protocols. Work the 1st shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $24.85 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to utilize computer
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data center
- Strong computer, mathematical, reading, and counting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with inventory accuracy, picking and packing, RMA processing, and equipment handling
- Previous experience in a warehousing environment
