Job Summary
Lead expert estimating for data center construction projects by managing relationships with project teams, general contractors, and clients. Develop and implement robust processes for the estimating team, evaluate initial cost plans, and own the external contractor bid analysis process. Create industry-specific benchmarking strategies and provide regular stakeholder updates on deliverables with quality controls. Support post-budget efforts through technical guidance on change order estimates and cost analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in estimating
- Experience in the data center sector or similar
- Proficiency across all stages of estimating
- Experience with peer reviews
- Experience with project benchmarking within highly technical facilities
- Excellent business development skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to expertly represent clients with contractors
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients
- Video capability for interviews
