Job Summary
The Data Center IT Technician is responsible for maintaining and optimizing hardware in the data center and deploying servers under rapidly changing priorities. This position requires strong technical knowledge, including experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of hardware (components) of dedicated servers
- Linux and Windows operating system proficiency preferred
- Strong knowledge of Data Center environment (network, electrical, airflow, air filtration, cooling)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work any shift in a 24X7 Operation, including weekends and holidays
