Job Summary
Data Center Field Technician to join Hanley Energy USA in Houston, TX. Responsible for on-site installation and maintenance of Energy Management Systems, switchgear, UPS, electrical, and power generation equipment in customer data centers; perform root cause analysis of equipment failure, limited maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA. Ensure safety procedures are followed, take operational readings, and utilize CMMS to manage workflows. Meet with customers to identify data center building needs, gather requirements, and perform administrative data entry (work authorizations and work orders). Maintain power and cooling for facilities and ensure clean rooms for critical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Technical (Military/ Trade School) training and/or relevant experience
- Experience working in a Data Center or a Critical Environment
- 2+ years of relevant electrical and/or mechanical work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid leadership and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with high energy and able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
