Job Summary
Conduct basic operations and incident response on electrical and mechanical systems while managing the facilities portion of customer project delivery. Coordinate building maintenance, supervise data center construction and modification activities, and ensure flawless operations through collaboration with construction, power distribution, cabling, security, and installation teams. Assist in the supervision of fit-up activities in new data halls and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of operational policies with an emphasis on safety and risk mitigation. This onsite role in Manassas, VA, requires TS/SCI clearance and 2+ years of data center operations experience.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Poly
- US Citizenship
- 2 years experience in data center operations or 5 years experience in building operations or equivalent technical fields
- Basic knowledge of design and construction management techniques
- Basic knowledge of ICD 705 data center design and constraints
- Proven operational experience in a data center or similar critical environments
- Basic knowledge of all aspects of facility operations, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
- Basic knowledge of data center operational approaches in classified environments
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Ability to work with minimal direction in an open and fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications
- Certifications or licensure in Electrical, HVAC or plumbing
- Proven experience in supporting data center moves, adds, and changes and determining project schedules
- Experience planning data hall population including hot/cold aisle designs with air and water cooling
- Experience with Nlyte or other DCIM tools
