Data Center Engineer (Mandarin Bilingual)

Job Summary
Conduct server, router, and switch cabling and installation per work orders and MACs, including device receiving, labeling, racking, powering, and network connection. Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and break-fixing on copper and fiber infrastructure while managing DCIM tools and software environments. Maintain safe operations by reporting violations, adhering to data protection protocols, and executing daily log tracking and inventory checks. Provide smart-hands assistance within SLA response times, coordinate equipment shipping and RMA processing, and perform general cleaning of raised floors and racks. Rotate shifts including holidays, off hours, and weekends; travel 20%+ of time for on-site support.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (listen, speak, read, and write)
- Knowledge of networking, servers and OS. Understand TCP/IP
- Ability to use IDC hand tools
- Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work at heights from a ladder and in noisy or confined space
- Ability to travel 20%+ of time when required
- Must be action oriented – understand task priority and the urgency of meeting deadlines
- Well-known who, when, how to troubleshoot networking systems onsite and hands-on hardware updates

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree preferred
- More than 1 year of above IDC experience
- Previous managerial position in this category
