Job Summary
Manage main workflows for rack turnup, moves, and decommissions to meet volume or capacity demands. Determine space and power requirements for specific rack types, coordinate remediation, and oversee fallout from provisioning, network cabling, splicing, maintenance, and manufacturing defects. Communicate with cross-functional partners to determine capacity needs and develop solutions for infrastructure problems. Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems. This role supports Meta's Edge Network Services team by driving end-to-end rack lifecycle across global data centers, enabling capacity delivery for AI-driven workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English verbal and written communication
- Strong problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data center racks (network, servers, storage)
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, communications software, operating system software
- Experience with critical infrastructure, power, cooling, space
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required, or equivalent work experience
