Job Summary
Conduct hands-on training in electrical, mechanical, fiber optics, HVAC, fire systems, and building automation during a 12-week internship program. Support customer happiness through timely order execution while maintaining detailed written records of all work activity. Develop strong problem-solving skills and natural curiosity for facilities through daily technical knowledge growth and team contributions. Work 40 hours per week at a rate of $25–$35 hourly, with flexibility to work any assigned shift, fill in for workmates, and respond to emergencies, holidays, or nights. This opportunity is designed for candidates with non-traditional degree backgrounds, specifically trade schools, to learn the necessities of becoming a data center technician or engineer.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- agile in manual dexterity (climb, stoop, et.) with or without an accommodation
- The flexibility to work any assigned shift, off-schedule, fill in for workmate, respond to emergencies, holidays, nights etc.
- High School Diploma
- US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) employment eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- experience with HVAC, plumbing, fiber optics, ethernet, switches and servers, and electrical, diesel generator, fire systems and building automation systems/ building mechanical systems
- A natural curiosity and strong troubleshooting skills
