Data Center Critical Facilities (Mechanical) Engineer

Data Center – Maintenance/Operations Engineer responsible for servicing critical cooling, HVAC, and fire safety systems at the Martinlaakso data center in Vantaa. Day-to-day duties include responding to alarms from building management and automation systems, performing maintenance and service activities, taking ownership of cooling systems and ensuring their maintenance and reliability in collaboration with external partners, and participating in maintenance planning and scheduling. The role involves working with cooling systems, chillers, HVAC/air handling units, and fire detection and safety systems, plus producing maintenance documentation and work reports in Finnish and English. Candidates should demonstrate strong Finnish and English communication, the ability to work independently, initiative, willingness to learn, and have relevant technical education and work experience; basic IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a clean background are required. Nice-to-have experience in data centers, building systems/automation, cooling systems, CRAH units, budgeting, scheduling, or team leadership.
