Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer III

Job Summary
Conduct semi-routine preventative maintenance checks and repairs on non-critical facility components including plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems. Monitor the Building Monitoring System and respond to semi-routine alarms per standard operating procedures. Coordinate with vendors for maintenance activities, manage work order approvals, and track daily shift progress. Complete semi-routine work requests, circuit installations, and office equipment troubleshooting. Assist senior staff with higher facility repairs, corrective maintenance, and on-site incident responses. Maintain stock levels of parts and equipment by informing stakeholders of inventory needs. Requires a high school diploma and proven years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or building technology. Full-time schedule with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Completed vocational training as an electrician / electronics technician / energy electronics technician / refrigeration and climate technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
- Bilingual German and English skills (German: excellent, English: good)
- Availability for shift work (24*7 - full-time operation)
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completed further education to Technician / Master (m/f/d)
- Multiple years of work experience, preferably in the data center sector
- Independent execution of maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of technical facilities and infrastructure (areas of electricity, cooling, climate)
- Operation of technical facilities and equipment
- Independent and careful work style
