Job Summary
Data Center Colo QA/QC Manager to support data center construction projects by leading commissioning (Levels 1–3), managing site QA/QC and ensuring alignment with company procedures. The role coordinates with Engineering and Construction teams to drive the commissioning process, reports status to senior leadership and clients, and oversees start-up and testing of critical electrical and mechanical systems in a datacenter environment. Responsibilities include site walk-throughs to verify procedures, development of MOPs, supervising facility managers, technicians and subcontractors, managing client relationships, establishing performance benchmarks, and coordinating with design/construction teams to ensure 99.999% uptime. Requires strong communication, project management, and experience with commissioning and MEP coordination within data center facilities; open to travel and relocation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience including Military a plus
- Certifications as a Cx Professional (BCxP, CxA, CCP, etc.) a plus
- NETA / NICET certification a plus
- Journeyman or Master’s License in MEP a plus
- 5-10+ years of data center facility construction and commissioning experience
- Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience
