Job Summary
Data Center QA/QC Manager responsible for leading the commissioning and quality assurance for data center construction projects. Coordinate between Engineering and Construction teams to drive the Cx process, manage level 1-3 commissioning, schedule alignment with Master Schedule, and reporting to senior leadership and clients. Oversee site walkthroughs, develop and approve MOPs for data hall work, supervise site staff and subcontractors, manage client relationships, establish performance benchmarks, and analyze O&M programs. Ensure readiness to support 99.999% uptime and develop procedures/documentation, with strong emphasis on MEP coordination, electrical/mechanical systems, and BIM tools. Open to travel and relocation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience including Military a plus
- Certifications as a Cx Professional (BCxP, CxA, CCP, etc.)a plus
- NETA / NICET certification a plus
- Journeyman or Master’s License in MEP a plus
- 5-10+ years of data center facility construction and commissioning experience
- Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience
- Previous experience working with a GC or 3rd Party CxA Company a huge plus
- Solid Understanding of Critical Electrical Power Systems or Mechanical / HVAC equipment in a data center environment
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus
- Experience with BIM 360 / ACC, CxAlloy, end user ACMS as necessary
- Strong verbal and written communications skills; Good presentation skills
- Superior analytical, planning and problem resolution skills
- Highly organized with proved project management abilities; self motivated
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- Open to travel M-F / home on weekends / limited travel if located near a project
