Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager needed to lead and deliver data center construction projects in Richmond, VA. Oversees contractors and vendors, manages schedules, budgets, change orders, RFPs, and value-engineering, and ensures projects meet design standards. Requires extensive DC construction experience (Owner/GC/Trade), 3–8+ years in the field, budget/P&L acumen, strong client-facing and communication skills, readiness to travel (50%), and proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD. Must maintain logs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive project delivery from planning through closeout.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Minimum of 3 to 8+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience
- Client-Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Willingness to travel to project site
- 50% Travel Required
- Preference will be for relocation candidates
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
