Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager position in Bordentown, NJ overseeing turnkey data center construction projects for a mission-critical facility developer. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day contractor/vendor activities, multi-project delivery, contract negotiation support, creating and managing schedules and project plans, change orders and budgeting, RFP support, value engineering, ensuring adherence to company design standards, and representing the company in project meetings. Requires strong organization, admin skills, client-facing experience, and ability to travel (50% travel). Proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD is a plus; familiarity with data center design processes and building systems is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Previous DC Construction projects supporting Hyperscale level Power 100MW and above
- Minimum of 3 to 8+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Willingness to travel to project site
- 50% Travel Required
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
