Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead critical facility construction projects in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities with contractors/vendors, creating and managing project schedules and plans, handling change orders and budgets, assisting with RFPs, delivering Built to Suit projects with value-engineering, ensuring adherence to Company Design Standards, representing the company in project meetings, and coordinating with multiple departments. Requires experience managing data center construction projects (Owner/GC/Trade), 3–8+ years in the field, budget/P&L involvement, client-facing skills, willingness to travel (50% travel), and proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner, as a General Contractor, or from a Trade
- Minimum of 3 to 8+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Budget and P/L experience
- Client Facing / Client relationship / Client Management skills
- Willingness to travel to project site
- 50% Travel Required
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD a plus
