Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager – Owner’s Rep. Lead and manage data center construction projects on behalf of the Owner, coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence, maintaining project plans, change orders, and documentation, and representing the company in project meetings. Responsibilities include liaising with contractors, managing multiple projects, negotiating contracts, creating schedules, delivering Built to Suit projects with emphasis on value-engineering, enforcing company standards in project delivery, managing financial aspects of contracts, and maintaining logs. Travel to project sites. Requires senior-level experience, strong communication, and independent work capability.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS a plus
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor
- Experience managing a budget
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Effective Communicator – emails, phone and face to face
- Ability to work independently
- Travel as needed to project sites
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, P6 Oracle Primavera, AutoCAD a plus
