Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Manager to support critical facility construction projects as Owner’s Rep. Lead contractors/vendors, manage budgets/schedules/change orders, deliver Built to Suit projects with value-engineering, and ensure adherence to Company Design Standards. Responsibilities include liaising with contractors, preparing project plans, reporting, RFPs, and client meetings, with a focus on risk management and maintaining project documentation. Requires extensive data center construction experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD; travel to project sites is required.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS a plus
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor
- Data Center Project experience involving retrofits, upgrades, and capital improvement projects in a live data center environment
- Familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Experience managing budgets
- Travel as needed to project sites
- Solid Admin skills
- Computer savvy: MS Project, Excel, P6 Oracle Primavera, AutoCAD a plus
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus
