Job Summary
Manage day-to-day construction activities on mission-critical and data center projects by coordinating subcontractors, monitoring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify progress, assist with logistics planning, and ensure work aligns with contract documents and quality standards. Uphold safety culture through daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and audits while reporting incidents promptly. Verify installed work meets specifications, support commissioning activities, and participate in pull-planning meetings to drive milestone achievement. Assist Superintendent in identifying schedule constraints and communicating impacts to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction field experience, preferably on commercial projects
- Working knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as project assignments require
- Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders, access elevated work areas, and navigate uneven terrain
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, or large commercial construction projects
- Exposure to MEP systems coordination and installation
- Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management software
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience
