Job Summary
Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architecture and data integration solutions using Azure technologies like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks. Develop and optimize data models, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses while defining and enforcing data governance policies. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to align data systems with business needs, ensuring accuracy, security, and accessibility. Analyze current architecture to identify improvements and stay current with emerging trends for upgrades. Work on versatile AI projects to upgrade skillsets and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or related fields
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, and data warehousing solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure)
- Proficiency with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
- Azure technologies (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks)
- SQL (DBT framework)
- Python
