Job Summary
Lead and execute enterprise data architecture initiatives across databases, data warehouses, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data models; define standards, roadmap, and governance; collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions; mentor data and technology teams; partner with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and enable business intelligence and analytics capabilities; prioritize innovation and data-driven decision making; hybrid work arrangement with Johnston, IA base and consideration for remote candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data analytics, or a similar discipline
- Strong proficiency with Snowflake (data modeling, data integration, performance optimization, security, governance)
- Advanced expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data governance, master data management, data integration, and ETL processes across relational, dimensional, multidimensional, and unstructured data environments
- Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate findings into actionable insights
- Knowledge of enterprise IT ecosystems including infrastructure, security, middleware, integrations, and data platforms
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, mentoring, and collaboration skills
