Job Summary
Data Architect responsible for defining and implementing an enterprise-wide data model, leading data governance and quality initiatives, and bridging business semantics with technical implementations across systems and interfaces. Key activities include driving an enterprise data model with stakeholders, defining authoritative data sources, implementing data governance and quality platforms, designing the overall data architecture (warehouses, lakes, APIs, integration layers), and exploring AI-driven modeling and metadata tooling to enhance data capabilities across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role
- More than 10 years proven practical expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
- Experience in data quality, lifecycle management and governance platforms
- Strong understanding of data integration patterns, API design, and enterprise data architecture
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale, complex projects with accountability for end-to-end outcomes
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across business and IT
- Clear and concise communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in financial services and/or asset management is an advantage
- English language proficiency; German language skills are a plus
