Job Summary
Data Architect responsible for defining and adopting an enterprise-wide data model in collaboration with business units and IT, leading data mastering discussions, and contributing to data quality and governance at scale. You will design and evolve the architecture across data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, and integration layers, ensuring alignment between business data needs and technical implementation. You will assess emerging technologies (including AI-driven modeling and automated governance tooling) to enhance data capabilities, while bridging business semantics with technical execution and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive firm-wide data initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a track record designing enterprise-scale data models in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- More than 10 years proven practical expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) with ability to bridge semantic clarity with technical precision
- Experience in data quality, lifecycle management and its implications on data architecture, data governance, including implementation and operationalization of platforms to monitor, measure, and enforce data standards at scale
- Strong understanding of data integration patterns, API design, and the role of data architecture within the broader enterprise technology landscape
- Proven ability to deliver large-scale, complex projects with end-to-end accountability across architecture, implementation, and adoption
- Understanding of how AI can impact data modeling, lineage, quality, and governance
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders across business lines
- English communication skills; German is a plus
- Experience in financial services and/or asset management is advantageous
