Job Summary
The Data Architect/Data Analyst will collaborate with Business Analysts and end users to convert business requirements into technical blueprints for enterprise reporting applications. Responsibilities include working with the EDM team to enhance Data Warehouse functions, communicating database designs to developers, evolving data models, maintaining technical documentation, and creating data architecture models for stakeholders. Required qualifications include over 5 years of experience with data modeling tools, knowledge of Kimball data architectural principles, expertise in relational data models, and strong SQL skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years experience using common data modeling tools like Embarcadero and Erwin
- A working knowledge of Kimball type data architectural principles
- Expert-level knowledge of relational data models
- Strong working knowledge of database architectures such as Teradata and DB2
- Strong working knowledge of ETL processes
- An understanding of OLAP, ROLAP and ad-hoc reporting
- Excellent communication Skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ETL processes
- Understanding of BI Tool capabilities
- Strong SQL skills
